Robert Clouse writes and directs this martial arts action comedy starring Jackie Chan. Kung fu expert Jerry Kwan (Chan) catches the attention of the local mob when he fights them off after they are sent to intimidate Jerry's father. Mob boss Dominici (José Ferrer) now wants Jerry to fight for him in a deadly contest, the 'Battle Creek Brawl', and kidnaps Jerry's brother's fiancée to force him to fight for her freedom and win the tournament. Using his devastating Wing Chun technique, Jerry defeats one opponent after the other, but will he be able to withstand the might of the mob?
