Coinciding with the explosion of dance pop by bands like The Rapture or Klaxons, but Delorean shone on their own after releasing 'Ayrton Senna' and 'Subiza' produced by Chris Coady (Chk Chk Chk, TV On The Radio, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, etc) . Pitchfork came to compare 'Subiza' with 'Screamadelica', and got them their best rating from reference media publications such as AllMusic, The Guardian, NME or New York Times. 'Apar' was their consecration, released at the time outside of Spain by True Panther / Matador with great songs, such as 'Destitute time', 'Spirit' or 'Unhold', with the vocal collaboration by Caroline Polachek.
