'BONGO FURY' turns 50!? The Zappa & Beefheart collab in May 1975 resulted in new songs, a tour, and album. 'Bongo Fury' is mostly live recordings from Austin, TX and the last to use the name 'Mothers' before it was retired in 1976. This 2LP has analog mastering of the main album by Bernie Grundman from original master tapes. Also includes record with highlights from the box set, litho print, and booklet, featuring unseen photos and liner notes from guitarist, Denny Walley, and Vaultmeister Joe Travers.
