Set in the year 3394, one thousand years after all surviving humans fled to spaceships after Earth was destroyed by the alien race of Gauna, scientists have perfected the human cloning process, with immortality given to the highest ranking members of society. The series follows Nagate Tanikaze (voice of Ryota Osaka) who was born and raised onboard the spaceship, and is determined to become a Guardian pilot so that he can defend his people should the Guanas attack again.
